Meet Holly
Welcome to my website. I’m Holly Cornwell. I was born, raised and still reside in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York. Growing up in this amazingly beautiful environment, I spent my time playing in the woods, talking to animals, and developing a deep connection with Creation, nature and the miraculous gifts around me.
As time went on, life became too busy to have this same connection where I once felt so fulfilled. With the busyness, came disconnect, chaos, and dis-ease, manifesting in the form of an aggressive breast cancer for me. As unpleasant as this diagnosis and the following treatment were, I express my gratitude for the awakening they provided for me. This brought me to the realization that I was not living in alignment with my true self. I started to reconnect and heal in nature, while experiencing the gifts Creation had to offer. I found enjoyment, connection and community in practicing primitive skills and crafting from nature’s bountiful gifts. I have taken many skills classes from friction fire, hide tanning, tracking, bow making, basket weaving, and Wilderness Skills Instructor. I began having the dialogue with Spirit that would put me back in alignment. I heard a deep ancestral calling to create tools with nature’s gifts that would serve for connection and healing. All of my drums, rattles, nature crafts and healing tools are created in ceremony, with great intention and gratitude. In the process of reconnecting and healing, I began my journey with WildernessFusion and the Niasziih Healing school, a nature based healing modality that teaches students how to make contact, track, and bring awareness to areas of imbalance, where things such as old patterns and beliefs may not be serving them anymore. This allowed me to find balance in my own mind, body and spirit so that I could find peace, love, joy and purpose on my path. I became a Niasziih Practitioner in July 2018. In addition to studying Niasziih Healing, I have also explored several other holistic, natural and shamanic healing-based modalities and teachings. My journey has led me to experience healing on many levels. It has shown me how to live a more connected, peaceful life in what seems like a disconnected, chaotic world. Whether it is through a healing session, a workshop, retreat, women’s circle, or an item crafted from nature’s gifts, it’s my desire to help others find this same connection, peace and healing on their journey through this life. |
